Daniel Trout, grew up in Saylorsburg, Pa., and lives there now with his wife Erika. In May 2022, Daniel and Erika welcomed their first child, Hailey Grace. They are enjoying parenthood. Daniel and Erika graduated from FCS in 2013, after which Daniel attended Clarks Summit University. Daniel has a bachelor’s in Camping Ministry and a minor in business.

For the past four years, Daniel has worked at Spruce Lake Retreat in Canadensis on the youth ministry team. He was responsible for their adventure programming and teaching in Spruce Lake’s Outdoor Education program. During the pandemic work got really slow at Spruce Lake and Daniel was able to do some substitute teaching at Faith. He quickly connected to the students and staff.

The Trouts attend Cornerstone Church in Easton, Pa., and enjoy serving in the Youth Group there. Daniel, Erika, and Hailey enjoy being outside, especially playing disc golf or soccer. They enjoy playing games and spending time with their families, who love visiting baby Hailey.

While subbing, Daniel was reminded of how much of an impact that FCS had on his life as a student, providing him with a solid foundation for his faith to grow and mature. He wants to be able to provide that for his students now.
