Kindergarten – Success Starts Here
In kindergarten classes, learning and fun are interwoven through individual and group thematic activities that encourage students to speak, listen, share, observe, and gain a strong academic foundation while they acquire social skills for the elementary school years.
At Faith Christian School elementary students are encouraged to do their best and to participate. Student’s efforts, study habits, and personal development of values–such as responsibility, respect, cooperation and honesty–are as important as subject content. Watching students discover new things and teaching them to love learning are qualities in which we pride ourselves.

Academic Overview

Our Kindergarten Program
Faith Christian School’s Kindergarten program is a great fit for your child’s inquisitive and growing personality. FCS’ environment will capture their imagination while teaching them key fundamentals creating a love of learning. Kindergarten provides our youngest learners with a solid foundation for their academic, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being and prepares them for first grade.
Faith is a place where your child will be loved and known; where they will learn from a biblical worldview and see Christian character modeled for them every day.
School and Home Partnership
Faith Christian School believes in a strong partnership between school and home. Prior to your child’s first day of Kindergarten you’ll meet with their teacher for Kindergarten orientation giving us the opportunity to learn about your child from the people who know them best — you. We’ll meet, at minimum, twice more throughout the year during Parent/Teacher Conferences to ensure we’re all on the same page about your child’s development and progress. Careful attention is paid to your child’s growth and learning to ensure your child is learning the right material at the right time. Teachers track student development and share their findings with you through quarterly reports.

Kindergarten is located in our Lower Elementary building (K-Grade 2) on the Lincoln Avenue side of our Roseto campus.
A Day In The Life of a Kindergartener

Five year olds are sponges, soaking up information and learning through instruction, play, and their experiences. You will be amazed as your little ones skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic grow and they will enjoy showing off their new skills.
Kindergarten is also an important time for them to hone their communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, and learn how to build relationships by showing compassion for others and self-control.
A day in the life of a Kindergartener is full of laughter, lots of movement, music, and play – as well as time to be calm and quiet while developing and practicing their new academic skills.
