Dear FCS Family & Friends,
Thank you to all that came out for Demo Day at the new Lower Elementary Building. We got a lot done in a few hours. (See above before pictures of the 2 rooms and below after demo day now 1 big room) I want to let you all know that Gene Boyer, our contractor, will be at the Lower Elementary building this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00am till 4:00pm. If you have a flexible schedule and would like to help Gene you are welcome. You do not need to be skilled in construction Gene will let you know what to do.
Gene will be scheduling some evening and weekend workdays, too. I will let you know those dates as soon as I have that information.
FCS is relying on the generosity of our school community’s time and skills to transform the Lower Elementary in order to keep costs down. We did it in 1980 when FCS opened and again in 1999 when parents and friends transformed an old rundown textile blouse factory into our current K-4 elementary building. WE can do it again!
