ATHLETICS

All grade levels participate in physical education classes.

Secondary students can participate through MACSA, Metro League, MACSA, ACSI and local competition in soccer, volleyball, basketball, track, and cheerleading. Middle school grades 6-8 participate in CAMSA League sports.

KESSLERSVILLE RD. SOCCER FIELD: (Where FCS will play GVS & BVS games the month of Oct. 2006) Coming from FCS: Take 191 S (go through Bangor, past Washington Fire Co.,)When you see Bono Pizza you are almost there. After Bono Pizza it is the 2nd left (Kesslersville Rd.) Turn left onto Kesslersville Rd (across from the Plainfield Farmers Grove) Go aprox. ¼ mile to Plainfield Community Park on the right (Gap View Rd) Turn right and look for the soccer goals.
From the South: Take Rt. 22 E. to Rt. 33 N, take the Stockertown exit toward Bangor.At the end of the ramp, turn right, go to stoplight. At stoplight, turn left onto Rt. 191 N toward Bangor - Stay on Rt. 191 N -- some landmarks to let you know you’re close:You will pass Upper Edelman Historic 1 room school (Books Hill Rd.), on left,Then you will see a long white fence on left, then…On your right will be a sign “Future location Plainfield Fire Co.”Then there is a green sign “Kesslersville” (across from the Plainfield Farmers Grove) Turn right , go approximately 1/4 mile to Plainfield Community Park on the right, Turn right and look for the soccer goals.
From the North: Take Rt. 80 E. to Rt. 33 S to the Belfast exit. At end of ramp there will be a stop sign, turn left (you will be under Rt. 33 ) Go to next stop sign. Cross over Sullivan Trail at stop sign. You will come to a “T” intersection. Turn left onto Rt. 191 N. Follow directions from 191 N from above (from the South directions)

FORKS TOWNSHIP GYM: Take Rt. 22 to Rt. 33 North. Exit at Stockertown (Rt. 191). Turn right at the off ramp. (if you are traveling Rt. 33 South turn left at the off ramp). Turn right at the stop light onto Sullivan Trail. Turn right at Keystone Nazareth Bank & Trust (KNBT) onto Zucksville Road. Take the second left at the Forks Township Park sign. OR: From New Jersey: Take Rt. 78 West toward Easton, PA. Follow Rt. 78 West to Rt. 22 West. Merge onto US-22 W via Exit 3 toward PA-33/Phillipsburg/Rt. 122/Alpha, (portion toll). Take Easton, PA exit. Take the second exit at the end of the bridge, come to a stop sign. Go to traffic light, stay in the right lane. Turn right at stoplight – N 3rd St. then becomes Cattell St. Go up large hill, road bends left, stay on main road. Follow this road through 3 traffic lights, road then bends left and goes up hill. You will then go through 4 more traffic lights. After 4th light, turn left at Keystone Nazareth Bank & Trust onto Zucksville Road. Take your first left into Forks Township C.C.

PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP SOCCER FIELD: From Rt. 22: Rt. 22 to Rt. 33 North to the Belfast exit. At the bottom of the ramp turn right. Go to the next (2nd ) stop sign and turn right. Go to the 3rd stop sign and turn left onto Sullivan Trail. Follow this road to Church Rd. and turn right. You will see the field as you pass the brick building (Plainfield Municipal Bldg.) on the corner. From Rt. 80: Take the exit 304 Rt 209 exit to Rt. 33, Snydersville, go south on Rt. 33 to the Belfast exit. At the bottom of the ramp turn left. Then follow the directions from above.

PORTLAND GYM:
From Allentown and Phillipsburg: Take Rt. 22 East (Allentown) or West (Phillipsburg) to Rt. 611 north. Follow 611 North to Portland. Turn left at the traffic light in Portland. Turn right at Pennsylvania Ave. Go one block, turn left. Go up steep hill. Gym is on the right.
From Nazareth and Pen Argyl: Take Rte. 512 through Bangor until it ends at Rt. 611. Follow directions from above.
From North New Jersey: Go over the Portland Bridge in Pennsylvania, turn right. Turn left at the traffic light in Portland. Follow directions from above.

TUSCARORA INN & CONFERENCE CENTER:
Directions From East: Route 80 West to Exit 4 in New Jersey (Portland-Columbia), follow signs to Portland. Cross Toll bridge. Go straight 1.2 miles on Route 611 South and turn left onto Potomac St. (TK’s Restaurant will be on your right.) Go 1.2 miles and turn left at stop sign onto Sunrise Blvd. Go 1.8 miles, then turn left onto Sagen Dr. (just past white house with a pond in front). Go .5 miles and turn left onto Belvidere Corner Rd. Go .8 miles to bottom of hill. Tuscarora Inn is on your right at the bottom of the hill. The gym is the fifth entrance on the right.
Directions From Lehigh Valley: Route 22 exit to Route 33 North - Stroudsburg/ Poconos, exit to Route 512 - Wind Gap. Take Route 512 East. Drive through the towns of Wind Gap, Pen Argyl, Bangor and East Bangor until 512 ends (approximately 20 minutes). Turn left onto 611 North. Go .6 miles and turn right onto Potomac St. (TK’s Restaurant will be on your left). Follow directions from above.
From Stroudsburg and the Poconos: Take Route 80 E to Delaware Water Gap Exit 310 (last exit in PA). At second traffic light turn left, you are on 611 S. Follow 611 for 5 miles through the town of Portland. Follow 611 when 611 turns right near the fire station, and continue 1.2 miles on Route 611 South. Soon after Citgo station on left, turn left onto Potomac St. (TK’s Restaurant will be on your right.) Follow directions from above.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP SOCCER FIELD (middle school games): Located on Rt. 191 south of Bangor. Take Rt. 22 to Rt. 33 North to Rt 191 exit. Follow signs to Rt. 191: Turn right at the off ramp. Turn left at the stop light onto Sullivan Trail. Turn right onto Rt 191. Follow it toward Bangor, the field is located before the small town of Ackermanville on the right behind the municipal building.

From Allentown : Rt. 22 W, Exit 9B/Pottsville-Rt. 61N. Take 61N for approx. 15 miles. Turn right at traffic light a Renninger's Market onto Rt. 443E. Blue Mountain HS on the left.

Calvary Baptist High School, Landsdale, PA Take the North East extension of the turnpike (Rt 476) south to the Lansdale exit. At the end of the exit turn left on to Sumneytown Pike. You will stay on Sumneytown Pike until you come to Calvary. (the corner of Sumneypike and Valley Forge Rd.) You will go through three lights, past Freddy Hill Farm and Fun Center. Proceed about 1/4 of a mile - on your left you will see the football stadium for North Penn High School. The next entrance after the stadium will be for Calvary. The gym is located on the left side of the complex as you come through this entrance.

CATASAUQUA - Varsity & MS Volleyball Lincoln Middle School: Rt. 22 W. Exit at Rt. 145 (MacArthur Rd Exit) N. on Rt. 145 to Schadt Ave. to 3rd traffic light. Turn left onto Main Street, then left onto Pine St. Stay on Pine St. Cross bridge and go into Catasauqua. Stay on Pine St, go to 2nd stop sign. Turn right onto Howertown Rd. The school is on the Right.

Catasauqua High School:Rt. 22 West. Exit at Airport Road ramp. Go north past the airport (LVI on your left). At the north end of the airport, turn left onto Race Street. Contiue behind the airport (still on your left) to the traffic light. Turn right at the light onto 14th St. Go past Scheckler Elementary School and down small hill. Take first left onto Bridge St. to the next stop sign. Turn right onto Fairview Street. This brings you into the back of the HS area.

GOOD SHEPHARD CHRISTIAN SCHOOL, WASHINGTON NJ - MS Basketball
Basketball: Take Route 512 East to Route 611 North. Cross the Portland Bridge to Route 46 East. Travel appx. 9 miles and turn right onto Route 31 South. Travel appx. 6 miles and turn left onto Route 57 East. Look for Warren County Vo-Tech, Warren County Library and Warren County Community College all on the right. Good Shepherd is directly across from Warren County Community College on the left. Turn into our driveway and the gym is the second building on the right.

Or traveling from the Lehigh Valley: Follow Route 22 over the Easton Bridge. Once in Phillipsburg stay in the left lane and look for signs showing where Route 22 and Route 57 split. Route 22 bears to the right and Rt. 57 bears to the left. STAY ON ROUTE 57, this is basically straight. Continue on Route 57 for appx. nine miles. Go through three lights. Look for Warren County Vo-Tech, Warren County Library and Warren County Community College all on the right. Good Shepherd is directly across from Warren County Community College on the left. Basketball and Volleyball: Games are played at First Baptist Church, 1808 N. 19th St., Allentown, PA. From Route 22 take the 15th Street exit, travel north on Mauch Chunk Rd (if you are traveling east on Rt. 22 you turn left, if traveling west of Rt. 22 keep to your right on the exit). Continue straight on Mauch Chunk, through the first stop sign, then turn left at the second street after the stop sign (Brown Street). At the second intersection (19th St.) turn right into the church parking lot. Travel around the church and park in the back.

Soccer: Soccer is played at Christ Methodist Church at Lindberg and Flexer Avenues, Allentown, PA. Take 22 West to 309 South, travel north on Cedar Crest (turn left at the light). Go straight at the first stop light (LCA is on the corner) then turn right at the second street (Lindberg Ave.) The field is on the left.

LEHIGH VALLEY CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL - Varsity basketball

LEHIGH VALLEY SOCCER FIELD - Varsity soccer
SOCCER: Take Rt 33 South to Rt 22 West to Airport Road South. Travel south to Union Blvd. (approx. 1.5 miles). Turn left on to Union Blvd and go to the first traffic light. Turn right on to Plymouth Street and go to the first STOP sign. Turn right on to E. Cedar Street and the building is the brick one on the left.

LEHIGH VALLEY VOLLEYBALL @ East Hills Moravian Church - Varsity volleyball
From Rt 22 – take the 191 exit South past Home Depot/Walmart. Continue several miles past the 7-11 on the left. The next light is Butztown Rd. Make a left onto Butztown Rd. East Hills Moravian Church is on the right- 1830 Butztown Rd.

MADISON AVENUE BAPTIST - Varsity basketball
Take Route 80 East to Exit 58B (Madison Ave. Patterson). Go through two lights (21st and 20th Streets) and about one more city block. On the LEFT is Madison Ave. Baptist Academy. Park in the back parking lot for the gym.

MARANATHA
Take Rt 78 East to Rt. 287 South to the Garden State Parkway South. Take exit 117 (not 117A) After toll booth, bear right onto Rt. 35 South. At first light make a right onto Holmdel Rd. (Note: you'll be on Holmdel Rd approximately 2 miles). Go through light. Go over Parkway, make the next right onto Hillcrest Rd. Greek Church is on the right about 1/2 mile. Note: if you should arrive early, do not enter church before someone from our school arrives. Also, there are no locker rooms- only bathrooms. Come dressed ready to play. Games played in the gym at Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church (locally known as the "Greek church") at 20 Hillcrest Rd. Holmdel. Note: when returning home, to get on the Garden state Parkway, the entrance from Rt. 35 Northbound is on the left.

MERCER CHRISTIAN ACADEMY - MOODY PARK
Take Route 78 East to Route 31 South. After passing Route 95 continue on 31 South to the second light (Ewingville Road, 7-11 will be on your left) and turn left onto Ewingville Road. Go straight through 4 lights. After you have gone through the 4th light (Spruce Street) the fields will be on your left just before the 5th light. The soccer field is adjacent to the upper baseball field.

MERCER COUNTY PARK
Going North or South on US 1 - At the Quaker Bridge Intersection with US 1 ( a cloverleaf at Quaker Bridge Mall) take Quaker Bridge Road (County 533) south. Continue south through 4 traffic lights (the 4th is Village Road). Continue on about another 0.7 miles through one more traffic light to the intersection with Hughes Drive (which comes in from the left); Quaker Bridge Gardens Nursery is on the southeast corner. Note: You will pass the park’s Quaker Bridge Road fields (QB1 to QB4), which will be on your left across from the “Park Plaza” strip mall. These fields are not within the main park area. Turn left on to Hughes Drive. Continue on Hughes Drive for about 0.7 miles to the Mercer County Park entrance on your left. Make a left into the park; this is the main road through the park.

From North Jersey via the NJ Turnpike, Exit 9 - After exiting, take NJ 18 North about 0.5 miles to US 1 South. Go south on US 1 for about 19 miles to Quaker Bridge Road south (a cloverleaf). Then see directions above from US 1.

From North Jersey via the NJ Turnpike, Exit 8 A - After the tollbooth, follow NJ 32 west through the first traffic light to US 130 (second traffic light). Turn left (south) on US 130 to Old Trenton Road (4th traffic light after you get on US 130). Turn right on Old Trenton road. Go through a traffic light (about 0.3 mile) and continue about 2.5 miles to the next traffic light at Princeton-Hightstown Road (County 571; Getty Station on the southwest corner.) Continue on Old Trenton Road through two more lights (at Village and Edinburgh Roads) After going through the 2nd light, continue to the Mercer County Park entrance. Make a right into the park; this is the main road through the park. See Inside the Park; Old Trenton Road entrance directions below.

From the East and Freehold Area - Follow NJ 33 West to NJ 133 (“Highstown Bypass”). Turn right on to NJ 133 and follow it all the way to the end. Cross Princeton-Hightstown Road (County 571) at the traffic light. Follow this road until it ends at a “T” intersection, which is Old Trenton road. Turn left on to Old Trenton Road. Continue on Old Trenton Road through two more lights (at Village and Edinburgh Roads). After going through the 2nd light, continue to the Mercer County Park entrance. Make a right into the park; this is the main road through the park. See Inside the Park, Old Trenton Rod entrance directions below.

Going South on US 206 - Take US 206 South through Princeton to Province Line Road (traffic light). Turn left on to Province Line Road. Follow Province Line Road through the next traffic light (Princeton Pike, County 583). Continue on province Line Road (curves around to the left) to Quaker Bridge Road (next traffic light). Turn right (south) on to Quaker Bridge Road. Then see directions above from US 1.

MORAVIAN ACADEMY
The Middle School is located at the corner of Market St. and New St. in downtown Bethlehem. Middle School Indoor Sports: Directions from the North, East, or West: From Rt. 22 take exit for Route 191. Head south toward Bethlehem until you go past Liberty High School. (Road becomes Linden St.) After the high school go through 3 traffic lights until you get to E. Market Street. Make a right onto E. Market St and go to the second traffic light. The Moravian Academy Gym is located on the right side of the corner of New St. and E. Market St.

Directions from Route 33: Exit Rt. 33 onto Freemansburg Avenue west and follow approximately 4.5 miles to Stefko Boulevard. Turn left onto Stefko Boulevard and go two blocks to East Market Street. Turn right onto East Market Street. Go 7 blocks to the intersection of Market and New Streets. The Moravian Academy Gym is on the right corner of New St. and E. Market St.

Directions from Route I-78: Exit onto Rt. 33 North. Exit Rt. 33 onto Freemansburg Avenue west and follow approximately 4.5 miles to Stefko Boulevard. Turn left onto Stefko Boulevard and go two blocks to East Market Street. Turn right onto East Market Street. Go 7 blocks to the intersection of Market and New Streets. Directions from the South: Take Rt.309 N to Rt.378 N into Bethlehem. Cross the Hill to Hill Bridge and make the right at the "Main Street Exit". Make a left onto Main St and follow one block and make a right onto East Market Street and follow for one block to New Street. The Gym is located on the left side of the corner of New St. and E. Market St.

Directions from the South: Take Rt.309 N to Rt.378 N into Bethlehem. Cross the Hill to Hill Bridge and make the right at the "Main Street Exit". Make a left onto Main St and follow one block and make a right onto East Market Street and follow for 3/4 of a mile. Athletic Fields will be on your right.

Directions from Route 22 East or West: Take Route 191exit. (Nazareth Pike, Bethlehem area). Turn right onto 191 North, then go about one block and turn right onto Brodhead Road. (look for the "Double Click" computer store immediately after leaving Rt. 22. If you go past the Double Click store you have gone too far). At stop sign, turn right onto Hecktown Road and follow 1/2 mile to second left turn.( Northampton Community College can be seen on the left). Turn left onto Green Pond Road. Moravian Academy is approximately 1/2 mile past the college on the left.

Directions from the new Route 33 Extension: On Route 33 exit at the Wm. Penn Highway. From the North, make a right turn onto Wm. Penn Highway. From the South make a left turn onto Wm. Penn highway. Follow Wm. Penn Highway toward Bethlehem for .8 mile. (Look for Moyer Lumber and Skate-a-way on left/ Deja Vue Kennels Sign on right). Make a right onto Farmersville Road. If you go past the Candlelight Restaurant you passed Farmersville Rd. by .1 mile. Follow Farmersville Rd. for .7 miles and make a left turn onto Green Pond Road. The school entrance is .2 miles on your right. (Brick pillars and white gates)

Alternate directions coming south on Route 33: Take the Hecktown Road exit off Rt. 33 and make a right at the stop sign. Make a left at the first light and follow past the Louise Moore Park approx. 1 mile to Green Pond Road (Green Pond Nursery is at the corner) Make a right onto Green Pond Road and follow to stop sign. Make a left and a quick right around the pond. The school is immediately on your right. (The pond is part of the Moravian Academy campus)

NEW HOPE/SOLEBURY HIGH SCHOOL – VOLLEYBALL
Take Rt. 22 East to Rt. 31 South. At the circle, Rt. 31 & 202 South. Go straight on Rt. 202 to the Toll Bridge. Cross toll bridge and go one mile to the 1st light then turn left. Go ¼ mile to 1st light, turn left. (McDonald’s is on corner), Go 3/8 mile, school is on the left. (This is the best route for the bus)

OR Take Rt. 611 South to Rt. 29 South. Rt. 29 South to New Hope. At the light, go right onto West Bridge St. After the railroad tracks and sharp bend in the road, the school will be on the left. (This is the best route for cars.)

Jannarone or Cranberry Fields (for Varsity Girl's Soccer Oct 2, 2006 only): I-80 East or West to Exit 42 (Route 202N/Parsippany). Take ramp for Route 80 going West/Cherry Hill Road/Parsippany. Follow ramp signs for Cherry Hill Road. Make left at first light - Interpace Parkway. Follow Interpace Parkway around corporate center (appx. 1 mile). Make left onto Walsh Road (Alfred Dunner/Graybar Distribution Center) Follow Walsh Road all the way to the end, up the mountain onto a gravel path. Follow gravel path until you see the soccer/football field at the crest). From Route 46 East or West: Make a turn onto Lackawanna Avenue in Denville (TGI Fridays). On Lackawanna Ave. fork left merging onto Interpace Parkway. Make a right onto Walsh Road (Alfred Dunner/Graybar Distribution Center) Follow Walsh Road all the way to the end, up the mountain onto a gravel path. Follow gravel path until you see the soccer/football field at the crest).

Smith Field:I-80 East towards Parsippany. Once in Parsippany, stay to the right side. I-80 East will split into Local and Express lanes. Merge to the right or the "local" side of I-80 following signs for North Beverwyck Road/Lk. Hiawatha Exit #45. Take that exit. Make a left at the end of the ramp and go North on Beverwyck Road. At the first light, make a left onto Route 46 West. Travel to the first light at Baldwin Road. Before that light, make a jug handle from the right lane and go back over Route 46 and make the first left into the park (Smith Field) off of Baldwin Road. We play on the large soccer field closest to Route 46 E.

Veteran's Field: Rt 80 East to Exit 42B (Route 202 North towards Parsippany). Continue on 202 North straight onto Littleton Road pass Parsippany Road intersection. It will end at the "Smith Road" light. Make left onto Smith Road and then an immediate right to head East on Rt. 46. Soccer Field: Follow Rte 22 across the bridge into New Jersey. Get into the left lane and continue through 4 stop lights. Follow directions for Route 57 East. After road splits from Route 22, make the first left onto Red School Lane (it comes up quickly). Travel appx. 1 mile to the end of the road and turn right onto Belvidere Road (Route 646). Travel .8 mile and turn right at 1724 Belvidere Rd., Fellowship Church Community Complex, which is a beige brick ranch home that sits away from the road and is right past a cornfield. Drive behind the home and park on the grass to the left of the barn. Please do not drive or park in the home's back yard.

POCONO MT. EAST HIGH SCHOOL
Route 33 North to Bartonsville. At the Bartonsville exit, take I-80 west toward Hazleton (left turn). Take the Scotrun exit. Turn left off the ramp onto Route 611 North. Travel appx. 4-5 miles to third traffic light (Big Daddy's Restaurant on left). Turn right onto Woodland Road for appx. 1/2 mile. Turn right onto Pocono Mt. School Road. Proceed a few hundred yards. There will be a large parking lot in front of you (Lot A). School in front of you is Pocono Mt. East HS. Use doors to far right - identified as Gymnasium/Auditorium.

QUAKERTOWN CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
Rt191S to Stockertown to RT33S to RT78W to Rt. 309 S. into Quakertown. You will pass through several traffic lights. Turn left at Tolgate Rd. (WaWa is on the left & construction for a Rite Aid on right) At stop sign turn right onto Old Bethlehem Pike. Take first left onto Paletown Rd. QCS is approx. 2 miles on Left after the RR tracks. Route 80 West to Route 380 North to Route 81 North to exit 194 (Clarks Summit). Follow the exit through the yield sign and take the Clarks Summit exit. Stay to the right (South Abington Road), until you come to the red light (sometimes it is blinking, sometimes it is a regular stop light). Stay in the right lane. The next light is about 50 yards in front of you; you will exit to the right at this light. This is South Abington Road. Continue for 1.1 miles. Turn right onto Venard Road (There is a blue sign for BBC, also an Assembly of God church on the corner. Travel on Venard Rd for appx. 1.2 miles and turn left onto Edella Road (2nd left after BBC). Follow this road to the stop sign. Turn right onto Fairview Road. Travel 1/2 mile. Turn right onto Griffin Pond Road (the street sign is on the left side of the road). School is appx. 1/2 mile down the road on the left.

SUSSEX TECH
Take 80 East to NJ. Take exit 4C for Route 94 North. Follow into the center of the town of Newton. Go halfway around the square to stay on route 94N. At the traffic light with a Toyota dealer, bear right to stay on 94N. At the end turn right onto route 15 South. Go through the first light and take the first turn for the jug handle. Go back across route 15 and stay on 94N. The school will be about 1.5 miles on the right. Turn right at the blinking light. Take first right into parking lot and right into the main lot.

TRINITY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL Montville
Basketball: Calvary Evangelical Free Church, Fells Road, Essex Fells, NJ. Take Route 80 East to Exit 47 A to Route 280 East to Exit 5B onto Livingston Avenue. Go approximately 1 mile, turn right onto Eagle Rock Road. Go 1 block to light (library) and make a left onto Roseland Avenue. Go 2 blocks and make a right onto Fells Road. Church is on the left.

Soccer: I-80 Eastbound (traveling toward Newark and New York City): Take Exit 45 (Lake Hiawatha Exit). Turn left at the traffic light, cross Route 46 at the next traffic light and proceed about 2 ¼ miles through Lake Hiawatha to the end (flashing light). Turn right and proceed to the end to the Stop sign. Turn right onto River Road and go to the traffic light. Turn left onto Changebridge Road. Take Changebridge Rd to the end. Make a right onto Main Street(202). Continue straight through first light; about 1/4 mile further road makes a full left turn onto Jacksonville Road. Take Jacksonville Road about 1/2 mile to Camp Dawson entrance on your left.
